How Do You Secure A Glueless Lace Wigs

How Do You Secure A Glueless Lace Wigs

There are two ways to secure your glueless lace wigs. These wigs come with combs on the inside of the mesh. The combs are placed on top, sometimes the temple, and in the back near the nape of your neck. These combs can also be adjusted for your comfort level. Use your combs to attach your wig to the foundation of your hair. They are used best when the wig is already naturally snug and fit.

The second way to secure your frontal wig is by using elastic straps. These straps are made within the wig and are used at the nape of your neck. They offer various slots to make the wig bigger or smaller as needed. Most straps are made of stretchy material with a plastic clasp on each side. You then connect them to secure your wig. If the premade elastic is too small, maybe opt for an adjustable elastic band that you can sew onto your mesh cap. These bands are elastic all around and wider.

Guide To Securing Glueless Wigs
Before securing your glueless lace wigs, make sure that you have purchased the correct wig. Your wig must include combs on the inside of your wig with adjustable straps at the back of the wig. Your combs should be placed in various places of your frontal, including the top, bottom, and temple areas. Now let’s get started on how to apply your glueless human hair wigs.

1.Braid down your hair. The quickest and easiest way to braid down your hair is straight to the pack. Begin from the front of your hairline and braid to your nape and repeat until you are finished. If you have hair that is hanging, pin them up into your braids. Remember, to have a flat wig installed your braids must be flat.

2.Clean your hairline with a cotton swab using alcohol or witch hazel.

3.Braid your lace wig into a ponytail to ensure there are no flyaway.

4.Place the wig onto your hair placing the combs into your foundation starting from the front to the back. You may have to adjust various times to find a good fit.

5.If applicable, adjust your capsize by adjusting the elastic in the back and clasp together.

6.Once placed correctly, cut the excess lace from the hairline of your wig, pay close attention to this part ensuring that you do not cut off any hair.

7.Swoop your baby hairs (if applicable).

8.Remove the braid of your wig and style accordingly.
